Nike Ripple Effect - Brazil

Ripple Effect is a series that explores the impact of sport on culture.

This film follows the stories of women’s football in Brazil following the World Cup.

Support for women’s football has grown globally since last summer’s tournament and in Brazil, where it was broadcast for the first time on national television. When @corinthiansfutebolfeminino played in the men’s stadium for the first time ever in November last year, Nike and The New Company were there to capture a new attendance record for women’s club football in Brazil.

The film explores how the game is changing through the experiences of women at all stages of the sport. From national team star @andressaalves9oficial, Corinthians club star @adrianasilvaoficial_016, Pelado Real Football Club founder @vergueirojulia and Gabi, Nic and Sofia who represent the future of the game.

The piece was Creative Directed, Directed and Photographed by Aimee Hoffman and Produced by me. We’re incredibly proud of her and this film.
